Poisonous Fruit

Poisonous Fruit

Jesus said that people are like trees. Good people produce good fruit and bad people produce bad fruit. And he also told us how to tell them apart:

“Be careful of false prophets. They come to you looking gentle like sheep, but they are really dangerous like wolves. You will know these people by what they do. Grapes don’t come from thornbushes, and figs don’t come from thorny weeds.

In the same way, every good tree produces good fruit, but a bad tree produces bad fruit.  A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot produce good fruit. Every tree that does not produce good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. In the same way, you will know these false prophets by what they do.” (Matthew 7:15-20 NCV)

The Apostle John also told us how we can tell the children of God from the children of the Devil:

“So we can see who God’s children are and who the devil’s children are: Those who do not do what is right are not God’s children, and those who do not love their brothers and sisters are not God’s children.” (1 John 3:10 NCV)

The following quotes are like the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden. They seem to be good and pleasant for food. But they are deadly, poisonous fruit

“The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism, but under the name Liberalism they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program until America will one day be a Socialist nation without knowing how it happened.” – Norman M. Thomas

“America is like a healthy body and its resistance is threefold: Its patriotism, its morality and its spiritual life. If we can undermine these three areas, Am.erica will collapse from within.” – Joseph Stalin

“What comes to pass does so, not so much because people want it to happen, as because the mass of citizens abdicate their responsibility and let things be.” – Antonio Gramsci

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” – Edmund Burke

“Apathy and evil. The two work hand in hand. They are the same, really. . . Evil wills it. Apathy allows it. Evil hates the innocent and the defenseless most of all. Apathy doesn’t care as long as it’s not personally inconvenienced.” – Jake Thoene

“Religion is the opium of the people.” – Karl Marx

“Our program necessarily includes the propaganda of atheism.” – Vladimir Lenin

“There is no god and there is no soul. Hence, there is no need for the props of traditional religion. With dogma and creed excluded, the immutable truth is dead and buried. There is no room for fixed or natural law or permanent moral absolutes.” – John Dewey

“By May 1, 1937, there should not be one single church left within the borders of Soviet Russia, and the idea of God will have been banished from the Soviet Union as a remnant of the Middle Ages, which has been used for the purpose of oppressing the working classes.” – Joseph Stalin

“My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism.” – Karl Marx

“As socialists, we are opponents of the Jews, because we see in the Hebrews the incarnation of capitalism, of the misuse of the nation’s goods.” – Joseph Goebbels

“The goal of socialism is communism.” – Karl Marx

“The theory of Communism may be summed up in one sentence: Abolish all private property.”    – Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, The Communist Manifesto

“In a higher phase of communist society, after the enslaving subordination of the individual to the division of labor, and therewith also the antithesis between mental and physical labor, has vanished; after labor has become not only a means of life but life’s prime want; after the productive forces have also increased with the all-around development of the individual, and all the springs of co-operative wealth flow more abundantly—only then can the narrow horizon of bourgeois right be crossed in its entirety and society inscribe on its banners: From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs!” – Karl Marx

“Divide the world into regional groups as a transitional stage to world government. Populations will more readily abandon their national loyalty to a vague regional loyalty than they will for a world authority. Later the regions can be brought together all the way into a single world dictatorship.” – Joseph Stalin

“[After Communism succeeds] . . . then, there will come a peace across the earth.” – Joseph Stalin

“Your children’s children will live under communism. You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept Communism outright; but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of Socialism until you will finally wake up and find that you already have Communism. We won’t have to fight you; WE’LL SO WEAKEN YOUR ECONOMY, until you fall like overripe fruit into our hands.” – Nikita Krushev

“Education is a weapon, whose effect depends on who holds it in his hands and at whom it is aimed.” – Joseph Stalin

Gun Control

“To conquer a nation, first disarm its citizens.” – Adolph Hitler

“All political power comes from the barrel of a gun. The communist party must command all the guns, that way, no guns can ever be used to command the party.” – Mao Tse Tung

“Ideas are more powerful than guns. We would not let our enemies have guns, why should we let them have ideas?” – Joseph Stalin

“A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” – Vladimir Lenin

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. – Joseph Goebbels

It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” – Joseph Goebbels

“Accuse your opponent of what you are doing, to create confusion and inoculate voters against evidence of your guilt.” – Saul Alinsky

“It would not be impossible to prove with sufficient repetition and a psychological understanding of the people concerned that a square is in fact a circle. They are mere words, and words can be molded until they clothe ideas and disguise.” – Joseph Goebbels

“Socialism is precisely the religion that must overwhelm Christianity . . . In the new order, Socialism will triumph by first capturing the culture via infiltration of schools, universities, churches and the media by transforming the consciousness of society.” – Antonio Gramsci

“What does Christianity mean today? National Socialism is a religion. All we lack is a religious genius capable of uprooting outmoded religious practices and putting new ones in their place. We lack traditions and ritual. One day soon National Socialism will be the religion of all Germans. My party is my church, and I believe I serve the Lord best if I do his will, and liberate my oppressed people from the fetters of slavery. That is my gospel.” – Joseph Goebbels

“The war we are fighting until victory or the bitter end is in its deepest sense a war between Christ and Marx. Christ: The principle of love. Marx: The principle of hate.” – Joseph Goebbels

“When an opponent declares, “I will not come over to your side,” I calmly say, “Your child belongs to us already . . . What are you? You will pass on. Your descendants, however, now stand in the new camp. In a short time they will know nothing else but this new community.” – Adolph Hitler

“Whoever can conquer the street will one day conquer the state, for every form of power politics and any dictatorship-run state has its roots in the street.” – Joseph Goebbels
